Outreach Ministries
At Laurel Avenue, we believe the Bible emphasizes the importance reaching
out the commmunity at large, by spreading the gospel and assisting those
with needs.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and
on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(Matthew 28: 18-20)
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after oprhans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from
being polluted by the world. (James 1:27)
Serve City
Serve City
is an outreach center in Hamilton, Ohio, dedicated to serving the needs
of Butler County's low-income and homeless individuals and families.
It is a ministry of the Hamilton, Ohio area churches.
Winter Coat Giveaway
Occuring annually in October, this event is used to provide children with a new coat for the coming winter.
Missionary Support
Laurel Avenue helps support several missionaries to spread the Gospel, including Steve Carrell, missionary to Japan.
Midwestern Children's Home
Mid-Western Children's Home offers
group home care, foster care, and adoption. The goal of all the programs offered by Mid-Western Children's Home is to enhance and nurture the well-being and spiritual development of each child needing Mid-Western's out-of-home placement services.
Ladies' Prayer Group and Monthly Devotional
Meeting at church and a church member's home, this is an opportunity be encouraged, study the Bible, and to meet and develop relationships with other sisters in Christ.
